Default Exhaust poppage

One of my favorite things the monte does is 'pop' the exhaust <3

Having fun driving under a bridge last night...
You hear more of the supercharger than anything, but listen closely you can hear it pop.

Did you finally get those flowmaster mufflers installed? I can't tell from this video, but it definitely has a rasp to it! Not many 3800 owners are a fan of that raspy tone, but I personally think the deeper rasp gives the car some personality.

its a set that I bought the car with. I have another video of just the sound by itself on youtube.

The rasp is annoying. Especially when it kicks into the next gear at a low speed. The sound you hear just after the pop is it shifting into 2nd.

As mentioned in the original thread, they're probably just some generic muffler shop mufflers. When you looked under the car, were the u-bend and resonator both replaced with straight pipe? If so, you might want to look into sneaking a glasspack in there somewhere, it might give you a more favorable tone.
