Makes me wish I had a V8...

Gutting the airbox gave mine a little deeper sound. Maybe someday I'll do something like that.

Flows have a pretty mellow sound by default, not obnoxious like some others. I happen to like a more obnoxious sound than the Flows create. I had straightpipe dual glass packs on my 350ci Silverado with a K&N FIPK II intake. The neighbors hated me!

But, I think that exhaust fits the style of the car. The '06 Monte is a classy ride that requires suitable exhaust. A job well done, far as I'm concerned.

imo it would sound better with a say a borla set i tend the like theire sound more

Yeah, I can agree with that. My father-in-law has a borla setup on his 2001 5.3l Silverado, only mod on the truck besides rims. It sounds REALLY nice.
