Well I went to Hot Rodd Scotts in Toronto to get my Exhaust done this morning. I cant recommend these guys enough. The exhaust is so perfectly lined up its incredible. I used Flowmaster 40's and some very expensive long tips (80 bucks a piece) All T-409 stainless steel.

wow... I actually thought the 40's would be louder and deeper than they sound... dunno if the vids do it justice or not, but it doesn't sound that much different than stock... Maybe it would with new pipe too?? dunno... are these the original 40's, or the deltaflows, or the super 40's???

I was thinking of getting the Flow 40's on mine too, but now I don't know... anyone else have sound clips of their 06 Monte SS with Flow 40's on it?

 

Well, i guess form the videos they dont do it justice then, its 100X louder then stock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I decided to leave the resonator in as they highly recommended doing so otherwise I would get too much drone!
Honestly, I stopped by my chev dealer on the way home (good friends with them there) and the service guys could not believe how amazing it sounds!

They are DeltaFlows by the way.

At least now you can hear me coming from the end of the street! My girlfriend thought there was a truck parked outside honestly.

I dont know how you can say that........I guess the videos do it no justice... I stopped by my chev dealer who I am friends with there and drove into the service department. the guys coudl not believe how good it sounded. Now I can hear the exhaust loud both inside and outside the car. Much deeper throaty sound. I mean how loud do you want it? So that it shatters the windows and wakes up the neighbourhood. I am pleased I can still hear my radio...
