my car is a 2006 black mc lt3,plan on putting a catback magnaflow exhaust.magnaflow told me about a ten HP gain with a good sound,almost have the money save will keep you inform. i'am a new member glad i join.

I should have mentioned I haven't seen a clip of the Magnaflow system. I have heard the flowmasters, which sound great, but the Magnaflows are still an unknown. Allthough I'm sure with how long they've been around it should sound great.

Welcome to the board, I plan on thesamething with the catback in the summer. But for now I do have Flowmaster and they sound really good.They are loud tho. Keep us in mind with clips of exhaust and updates on your car when you do something. From the people I talked to at Magnaflow at idle there tone is a little louder then stock but nice a deep. But when you drive it you get a good deep growl and screams when your on it.

 

my uncle has a friend that works on cars,he said he can get me the magnaflow cat back for $700.00 and that he'll charge me $50.00 to put it on.magnaflow want's around $860.00 threw them.with this system and a good CAI the monte 3.9 should be around 265hp &270hp.I'am hopimg by the end of dec. or early jan.i should have it on.will keep you inform.magnaflow said there catback is good for a 10hp gain.and as they told me & you the sound will be very nice.

thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.06mcltz ty for the info,i will look into it. my 06 lt3 monte is black has only 12,800 miles.driving the wifes car in bad weather.have a k&n filter power sunroof,pretty much loaded.wanted the ss but the payments were to high.i did put the monte SS badges on,looks good.again, thanks to everyone for the warm welcome.
