Unhappy This is the end.

Well, after Carl started knocking, I gave in and used him as a trade in on a new car yesterday. I got a 2004 Nissan Maxima SE. Very impressed with the new car but very upset about seeing my Monte go! I plan to in the next 2 years or so, to buy a 7th gen. Monte but that has time to wait. I will still be around on the forum but Carl is no more.

Yes, a Nissan. Wasn't my first choice. But with no credit or cosigner, it was my only choice! But my Monte had a motor knock and was about to throw a rod.

We had a 500 dollar nissan sentra that we bought to get us between cars and then my son drove it for about 5 years. It was a great car with minimal problems even tho it had well over 150,000. The motor seized up when he didnt check the oil or it would still be running. overall they make a pretty reliable vehicle. Enjoy your new ride.

I love the car so far! Just had my windows tined to 15%. Only cost $165 for all windows including the eyebrow/visor. Not a bad deal at all! A local kid does window tinting for cheap and does a fantastic job! But, I still plan to trade the car in on a 2007 Monte SS in a year or so. Gotta have another Monte!
