Default Tail of The Dragon

I want to take the Monte Carlo down to the Tail of The Dragon sometime and see what it's like. If you don't know what I'm talking about look it up.

since he didn't post any info, it's a road in North Carolina that a lot of people like to ride, it's awesome scenery and an awesome ride!

One of these days I'd like to get my Camaro out there. Have to be during the summer though because with the way the weather is during the spring and fall it would be hell on my knee to work the clutch that much in such a short period of time. As long as the weather is consistent I think my knee would be alright, although it would probably end up sore.

You'd literally die in the winter with a RWD camaro.

It's all about driver skill I promise. US 127 between Crossville, TN and Albany, KY is VERY treacherous and I've driven that road in the snow in the Camaro with no problem. So is the old US 71 in NW Arkansas between Fayetteville and Van Buren. There's another road east of Fayetteville headed in the general direction of Little Rock (I think it pops out on I-40 near Russelville) that's even worse. Keep in mind FWD is a pretty new thing (relatively speaking) and before the Interstate system was completed (long before FWD became common), those old highways were the only ways to get from point A to point B. Shoot, up till about 10 years ago (when I-540 was opened), old 71 was the only way between Fayetteville and Fort Smith unless you wanted to go 60-70 miles out of your way.
