Those are the "cheap" plastic black ones. Sorry don't mean to belittle them but they are. The GM accessory ones thatI havefeel stronger and much more expensive to me.

 

I like that accessory, but won't pay a bill for them.

Yep; they look pretty nice. They must be the ones I ordered. The type AwsomeSS hasare the same as the ones I have on my 04, plastic with the "Monte Carlo" script cut out so the body colour of the car shows through. Both types are a nice little "Add" to any Monte.
