Anyone who bought a Signature Series or Pace car replica had to wait to get the COA from Chevy. They had to be printed with the owner's VIN and a cover letter with their name, and address on them.
I was very lucky. I found two Pace car owners will to sell their extra COAs to me. So at least we have one.
I fudged a cover letter to reflect the original owner of our Pace car name and address. It wasn't that hard to do on the computer.
Now to find a local shop who can copy the certificate so the copy looks like the original. Only with our VIN on it.

When I traded our 03' pace car in I made sure the Certificate and the original window sticker were in the car. The only thing I kept was the letter from GM since it had my name and address on it. Wasn't a big deal since the car got sold to someone from a different state but you never know when it comes to your personal info, better safe than sorry. I did make some high quality copies of everything to keep for myself. And have them framed along with the "hero" cards framed that I picked a few extra copies of on ebay.
