Default .....good deal ?

.Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. It is always a good idea
to check the Kelly Blue Book value of any car that you are thinking
about purchasing. Keep in mind that any dealer will mark it up 1,000
to 2,000. They have to make a profit some how.
A loaded 02 SS in excellent condition with those miles.......not bad.
Everyone here is going to ask for photos.
Photos ?
That's taken care of now.
Enjoy your MC !

Sounds like a great deal...but like another poster mentioned, you should always check kbb before making any decision.

01 and 02 Monte SS's are booking in the 7,000-8,000 dollar range right now. Just just picked up my 01 SS for 6K, and I thought I got a pretty good deal, congrats.

in 2001 and 2002 (maybe 03) when they did the High Sports Package, they slapped in a Limited Edition cluster.

That seems kinda steep to me. I recently used KBB to look up the value of my car, and it came out to be 9,800 in Excellent condition, for private party.

I would say that 5-6K is more like it for an 01-02 (depending on milage)

But with that low of milage, and at 4K, i'd say you got a great deal. (especially if it was a dealer, then you got a screaming deal).
