Hello, I have talked to a couple guys and they wanted me to post the pictures Of Dale Earnhardt autographing my Monte SS. We were in Green bay WI, and Dale was having an autograph signing at a local short track, well I couldn't wait in line because of my Leg and back injuries, so I thought, "he had to have flown in to Green bay". So I went to the Green bay airport and looked for a DEI Jet/ I found a DEI jet at the Green bay airport and waited until the autograph singing was over, ( I waited about 45 minutes) then kept an eye out for a decent vehicle, it was a white GMC Jimmy. Low and behold, dale got out of the back seat, keep in mind NO ONE Else was there but 2 girls that figured out the same thing I did. Well, long story short, me, my wife and daughter got to spend about 15 minutes with Dale, NO one Else was bugging him or asking any questions, just US (I would have been happy with just that, then, my wife asked him if he would sign our red Monte SS, he said SURE, and where do you want it signed, I asked him right above the drivers door, just like the race car, he asked if I was sure because it was BRAND NEW and he is left handed and didn't want to mess it up because he couldn't rest his hand on anything to sign it and it was done with a paint pen, not a sharpy. (thats why his signature isn't perfect) BUT he did sign it with his entire name, not just Dale Jr (thats how he signs 99% of his autographs) the Autograph is about 4" x 20" and looks cool as hell. We had it covered up by clear "chip proof tape" (the dealer did it and we couldn't get it clear coated because of the wax on the car) Dale also said at the time, it was the ONLY car he has ever signed above the Drivers door, he has since did at least 2 others, but they are signed "Dale Jr." only...... We have a video of him signing it as well so no one can say its not real. best kind of COA you can get. Everyone that sees it thinks it's a Sticker, but we show the pics of dale signing it to prove it...,
since then we went to Childress Racing and Chocolate Meyers autographed the Gas door with a "Chocolate, #3" witch is pretty cool as an Earnhardt Sr. Fan .... thats about it.... My wife will never sell the car now, so I got my own Monte SS, the Black one... I would sell the car in a minute, but its hers now.... Just hope to god she doesn't have Bon Jovi sign it.....lol......
