Mkay so this past weekend was awesome. I had tons of stuff going on between meeting Brian & Steve for the first time, doing a cheap/minor mod to the car & having 2 huge car events going on so expect to see about 4 or 5 threads from me here soon =) But anyway we will start with Friday night which was the bi-annual (used to be annual but now they have 2 a year so yeahh lol) huge DARE Cruise here in Wentzville went down. It started at 6pm & went until 9ish pm. It was awesome! I spent 6ish hours detailing the car earlier that day so I was hella excited to show her off to everyone in the area =) there were TONS & TONS of cars & I took a pic of almost every single one of them so I’m not gonna post all of the pics up but y’all should most def take a look at the album sometime because there were some really awesome & rare cars there. I took like over 300 pics that day I think lol. I can’t freaking wait til next year! It was really hard to get pics of a lot of the cars because there were sooooo many people everywhere so just deal with it lol

But anywayyy before Ryan got to my house & we headed to the cruise I had to do some things to the car…first off, I had to repaint & put on the spare filler signature because the other one got destroyed =( not the best job but it’ll do for now. I plan on getting it professionally painted & the decal put on it in a few weeks



We got there like 10 min after it started & there were already a TON of cars there. We drove through once trying to figure out where to pay & then we parked & me & Ryan walked all the way down the strip to take pics of all of the cars =) it was awesome!

There were cars hiding everywhere but they can’t hide from meeee =)

This turned around the corner =) I was freakin hyperventilating. I was on the phone with Brian as I was trying to take pics of it lol I talked to a guy with the GTO that I was parked by at the cruise (he knows exactly who I am because he sees my car all of the time at Midnight Madness & all but idk who he is & I feel sooo bad lol but anyway..) about it on Saturday at the show & he said he knows the guy who owns this GT & apparently the guy actually puts real miles on it. He doesn’t just keep it locked in a garage, wish I had a car like that that I could just drive around all of the time, but oh well I’m quite happy with my baby =)

Yup this is the truck with separate wheel drive at the last show I was at & yes he was driving down the road diagonally…? I guess that’s what you could call it lol

 

It was hard to walk & get really clear shots like this one without anything (or anyone) being in the way lol

Another 1st gen monte! I was like OMG! How exciting! Where do all of these people live! PS I seriously need to get some MCF & GM Forum cards made up for all of these nice montes & other GM vehicles in the area. Next car show season I’m gonna be killing people with the cards lol Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to talk to any of these other Monte Carlo owners =( but a member from the Monte Carlo Forum (Jimbo7) spotted my car & started talking to me so I got to meet another person on the forums in person which is always exciting for me =)
