That SS with5 miles on itI test drove was sweet.
(dealer said I had to promise not to drive itmore then 10 miles)

But that bright red paint......................

Bigg J,
I've seen '05 information that says silver was Galaxy Silver as well as Silerstone Metallic. I'm not sure Chevy knew what to call it in 2005?

LOLZ. Yeah, not surprised. My owner's manual and brochure all refer to it as Silverstone Metallic. But again, I see ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE between the Silverstone Metallic and the Galaxy Silver. When I get the can of Galaxy Silver (they do not make it in Silverstone Metallic) from Duplicolor and spray the taillight covers and hold up to the rest of the car, we will have see. But, I am pretty confident that there will be no difference.

Hey Cully, I was curious. How long was your Monte at Haggerty? My CarFax indicated that mine was sitting there since late October 2008. That can explain part of the low mileage on mine. It sucks that I have to drive in this bad weather, but it really isn't all that bad since all that V8 power goes to the front wheels. The traction control has kicked on quite a bit, but I never fealt that I was losing control or stuck. Enjoy!!

I think the '05 dealer album calls it Galaxy Silver.

oohhhh baby

Black Bowtie - Thanks!!!!!!

Rick (or Ted?) - I believe mine sat for about the same time... i seem to have misplaced my carfax at the moment, but I know I had been tracking it for at least 2 months. My tires are about done, gettin the new ones on tomorrow... A little wheelspin can be fun but I look forward to tires that can actually hook!
