well while i have to wait for my new lowering springs i wanted to go ahead and buy shorter dog bones and anti pogo washers from ZZP, but it was going to be $71.50 shipped for the dog bones and 4 washers screw that! after some research i found out that both of those are GM items which you can get from your local dealer for much cheaper than ZZP!! lol idk if any of you guys knew that but i sure didnt haha

so lucky me went down to the junk yard today and found a pair of shorter dog bones and 8 "anti pogo washers"!
the dogbones i guess came factory on some venture vans with the 3400
they are 1" shorter than the stock monte ones




The washers are actually front cradle retainers on most FWD gm vehicles. some have only one on one side and some dont have them at all :p
the part # for them is 10203412, which is the ones you want. there is also a bigger version which is part # 10203413 but those are too big :p
(i'll be selling a set of 4 if anyone's interested )



also from that venture van the motor mounts are what caught my eye! they're solid aluminum and have 4 mounting holes. but with little modification they can fit our cars. i'll be doing some trimming to them to get rid of 2 of the holes and i'll be polishing them to a SHINY finish they are beefier so i had to check the clearance when the hood is closed and all is good



best of all I ended up saving a few bucks over buying from ZZP lol :p

 

U can always save money by not buying ZZP great finds Frank might go with those parts when i drop my front

 

lol you should those dogbones are only $12 each at autozone for a venture van haha :p
