Question Convertible sighting?????

So on my way home tonight i pulled up behind a car with Monte Carlo rear end(2000s model) and lights, but the roof was a soft top! I knew this because the window was small and rectangle like my rx-7's not long like the Monte's and it was tan color. Note that it was dark and it turned away from me, but i saw the headlights and they were Monte headlights too. Has anyone else seen something like this before?

Could of just had a vinyl top. Especially if it was owned by an older person.

They do make a vinyl top conversion but it's aftermarket.

I was just going to mention that Monte. It's not a convertible. It's an aftermarket vynil top that was put on by the previous owner. The current owner, an MCF member, kept the top on.

There are a few custom convertibles about there so it could have been but it was probably just a landau top. I have a pic of a one somewhere on my computer but I cant find it. It had the side windows even covered like the 70's monte.

Looks ghay... The impala can pull it off somewhat I think, Cadillac can easily pull it off but montes are a hell no car for that, it just doesn't have the right curves for it
