heck even my surf bord dont sit flat on mine. and they just redid it.

Also found some rust under it so when they had to paint the went a head and did it also.

But what i have found as annoying as this is you can get a high pressruse hose (latter on after the green paint is not there)
you can shoot it in the front and back side and it will keep this clean for ya to.

Looking good Jason, I much prefer the pace car spoiler. I don't notice any gaps on the 06, just on the very edge where it goes over the fender.

Mine holds water. Found out the hard way while waxing the trunk lid. Had to open the trunk while the wax was drying to a haze. All of a sudden water ran out from under the spoiler.

They all do. And that includes the '06 spoilers.

The only one I own that doesn't is my '86 LS. And that has to be due to me laying a bead of silicone around the entire edge of it 10 years ago.

I've been debating on doing this to my '06 LTZ as well.

ORIGINAL: rj

Even the race inspired spoiler on my '06 LTZ the front edge does not set on the deck lid. The front edge curses back under itself just slightly.
I am diligently searching for an '06 - '07 race spoiler to replace my surfboard ("duckbill" lol.) Member Blue Ess Ess did a great job with his a couple years ago. I prefer the new one to the previous pace car spoiler for '00 - '05. I can never find it on Ebay and I am not going to pay the dealer over $360 for it, unpainted.

Still, looks good, though. Great substitution.
