I recently pulled another 305 5.0 from an 85 Monte ss. I plan on putting it into my 84ss for stupid emission reasons. Is the harness the same for 84-85??? Also the 85 had a 700r4 transmission my 84 has a rebuilt th350 with less then 1500 miles on it will the new engine bolt in to the th350 being as it was connected to 700r4????

There might be few difference's engine's such as carb and intake but since you have the original set-up it should be a breeze. Yes the engine will bolt up to your transmission with no issue's at all.
