What is the official color nameof a 2005 Monte Carlo that looks like maroon or burgundy? I believe it is some type of red. I know there are two different reds for that year.Thank you

 

best way would be to get ahold of your local GM dealer with the VIN. if not, your local automotive paint dealer should be able to help you

 

The name they use in 2004 was Berry Red Metallic. Not sure if they changed it for 2005.

One of the new features for 2005 for the Monte was three new colors.
(21U) Laser Blue Metallic.
(63U) Sport Red Metallic.
(67U) Silverstone Metallic.

This Sport Red Metallic looks maroon in the image.

And the only other red in the dealer album is Victory Red which to me is bright red.
