Default Cold Air Intake issue

So, I attempted an installation on the intake today. Few questions.
Is the PCM that was in my filter supposed to just chill in the engine bay, like will anything happen to it that'll ruin my monte and is there any way I can remove the IAF from my air filter hose to put it on the CAI hose?
Dumb questions, I know. But please help point me in the right direction -.-

for the maf you can move it to the cai hose for a more accurate reading but it wont do much for you, and for the pcm, bungee it down if theres no tray, its screwed on so it shouldnt fall off, just secure it down somehow so its not moving, i would look into a tray from zzp though, what kind of cai do you have?

IAT sensor not MAF.

And do not relocate, you want accurate readings.

So, this is right after I put it in, didn't bother to put the top of the case on. I'm just gonna make my own :P

See how simple that was.

Tip, you should buy yourself a recharge kit, that filter looks disgusting. It should be pink lol (unless it's an unoiled filter should be white) but if It's a K&N filter, you need to clean and reoil that sucker.

I think I'm just gonna buy a K&N filter. Its not sucking in too much air

Check your brake fluid. Looks like it could use a little :P
