Default Coin holder

Okay so the 00-02 Montes came with this slipped in change holder in the center consel. I noticed that my 06 had the slots, but no holder - hmmm?? ripped off at the dealer show room? No! not an option for the 03 and up. I live in Berkeley CA, home of the most expensive meters; we are talking 10 minutes for 25cents! You can order the old GM part and slip it in to you 03 and up Monte part number is: 10436137.

i'm glad we dont have to pay for parking here in my town, they got rid of that a looong time ago...it sucks when you have to pay....its ok if its a lot that someone owns and you park there...but on a city street i dont think you should have to pay for parking..the gov't arlready makes enough stinkin money from taxes

No coin holder in my 06 either. Also the cup holder inserts, which are nice to take out to clean weren't in the 06 either.I pulled them out of my 2000 SS before I traded it in.and put them in the 06.

mater of fact i cant even tell you wha tthe one from the monte is suposed to look like LOL
I found one in a bone yard out of a Grand Am that was a earlie 90's and it fit in there so i have it. but it is more of a PITA then anything as it wont stay in place so im alway moving it to digg in to the center cubby
