That's cool. Too bad he didn't go for a 6.6-liter Duramax LBZ or LMM engine. He could have kept it GM that way, and a hell of a lot quieter. They did this to a 65 Chevy Impala SS on Pimp My Ride and it came out awesome. There is a guy on the Buick boards that took an 81 Cutlass Diesel and transformed it into a Buick GNX clone and dropped in a Duramax LB7 diesel engine in it. That thing looks and sounds bad ***. It would be nice to be able to cruise around getting 30 MPG and pulling 12.xx-13.xx second timeslips.

Diesel.. Muahahaha.. at work we have 35 milcots. (Chevy 2500 with the 6.6 Turbo diesel and 6 spd allison, painted army green) I wonder if they would miss one? MUAHAHAHAHAAAA HAHAHAA hahaaa.. ha ha.. Heh..

Yeah, it's pretty cool, though. I'm psyched about that kind of setup ever since I saw them convert an Impala coupe to a 6.6 turboed bio-diesel engine on "Pimp My Ride" making over 800hp and it smoked a (was it a Lamborghini or a Porsche?) on the 1/4 mile.
