I honestly think getting it for 10K would be a steal, this thing is definitely worth A LOT more. Did the guy say how much he was looking to sell it for? I honestly think this car is probably work 15K+.

He really didn't say anything about the price. He got it appraised a couple of years ago for $14,000 and he is well aware that it's not worth that much - he just wants to get rid of it and find it a good new home.

 

did you send him an offer yet? sounds like if theyre retiring and he knows its going to an amazing home, hes probably not going to care if it goes a little less than he wants

yeah 10K would be a good offering price especially if the neighbor really wants you to have it. But I know some people would be asking 15 to 20K... not to say that it's actually worth that, but some would be asking that much.
