nice car I never heard of a 229ci motor. I guess it's just chevrolet's version of th 3.8. You learn something new everyday.

 

Yeah, me too. After I read "229" I had to go on the web and research it. :p
Normally I'm all about the 80's SS's, but I really like this car.

 

 

From what I gather the 229 V6 is the 3.8 more or less.

My g/f Debbie's '81 LC Monte has a 229 in it. And .............. she HATES it. Cause she was used to driving a 1976 Olds Cutlass with a 350 under the hood that would smoke the back tires is why.

 

Reserve not met at $2126 and 24 bids.

 

That Monte looks exactly like a Monte here in Windsor I saw for sale today. Coincidence. Go figure.
