its from ebay, it goes not the one that is just the filter but the one that is from the trhotle body. The seller Id is Cromeintakes. i really was surprised with the quality of the item.

Is it the one that looks like this:



If so, that is a HAI and it's going to be sucking in a lot of hot air from the engine while it works, Though it is a good start to making an intake, you may want to go to a store and get a good length of ABS piping (NEVER PVC) with 2 silicone couplers and clamps and extend the filter further down and away from the engine.

Thats exactly it, lol see the pictured i attached. thanks for the tip but since the intake was not expensive im just ging to do what you mantioned and get a heat shield for the intake filter and also one the the downppipe that passes right under the throtle body.

ha, i used ot have one of these, i loved that thing, i really loved how it would whistle at the higher rpms. how do you like it?? mine came with that cheap *** heat shield though i think thats what made the whistle.

I think it feels the same it just sounds better, and i can feel the rumble a little more when i punch it.

The only problem is that this intake grabs so much hot air that is less dense than cold air that you are pulling in less air with this filter by volume, which is less for the engine to use and actually creates less power to your wheels.

Though they do sound nice.
