Sounds like a really nice cover. How much?

Ok so an update.

I may have jumped to quickly into buying. I was driving to work and heard on the radio that a company does embroidery on anything you could imagine. So i called them and asked them if they could do some lettering on a car cover and they said yes we can.

I cancelled my order with Cali and am now just going to get the Noah without lettering.

When i receive it i will take it and work with them to make the perfect design...a bit more custom then ordering it off the site.

If you don't mind I'd like to know the cost as well.

See the cover I bought for the '03 Pace car came from ebay. I paid $40 for it.

If at all possible I'd like a better cover for the car as a gift for the up coming Christmas season.

The Noah Cover alone from cali covers is $224. If you want to get the standard embroidery is costs an additional $20 for the first 7 letters and $2 for each additonal. So naturaly "Monte Carlo SS" would come to $30(Spaces dont count).

The deal i worked with them to get the custom colors was going to be $50 even.

Now that i am going to get the embroidery done myself i am only paying the $224 +Tax for the cover and $20 for the lettering which i get to help create.

**The other catch that cali covers has is that they cant put anything on the cover that goes against copyrights. So they cant put words such as "Chevy" and "Ford".

This thread sold me. I ordered one too. The cover I was using kept blowing off. Then is would get filthy inside and out. It was a cheap piece of crap, so it couldn't be washed. My car deserves better. I went top notch and am not bragging about the price. I got crazy dripping, sporing trees in my backyard - this cover can't arrive soon enough. But its gonna take 2 weeks and the Bud Chev is going to have to suffer because I threw the other cover out.

Will definitely be posting pics when it arrives

Old thread revival!

My cover arrived in the mail today! I'm excited, but I can't really put it on yet because the car is so filthy from being left uncovered for the last month while the cover was being made. My backyard, although paved, is practically in a forest. London Ontario is called the Forest City - its like the forest moon of Endor in Return of the Jedi. Anyways, I want to give the car a good wash and maybe even clay bar but I mess up the inside of the cover. It will have to wait until tomorrow.

From what I can tell, it looks like a nice cover rolled up. Compact. I'm a little surprised with how light it is - seems mostly nylon and not so soft on the inside. Its supposed to be the best California Car Cover has to offer.

Pics tomorrow

I too ordered a brand new car cover for the 05 (it sits outside except for winter). I bought a covercraft Evolution 4 from AutoAnything.com. I got a great price - around $160 shipped. I decided to get the Evolution 4 cover because I did a side by side comparison between that and the Noah cover and it says the Evolution 4 is best at dent protection. Which in fact might come in handy tonight cause we might get some wicked storms later. Also, the last 2 daily drivers I owned I had Evolution 4 covers and I was very happy with the results.

Fits like a glove! Two-tone custom "Superweave" by California Car Covers. No need to doubt if it is the same as a Covercraft - it has a "WeatherShield HP" tag sewn in it too. Same company. Made in USA. Check it out:

Look kinda pink in these shots. Its not, but it isn't quite as red as the BudChev either.
