Default Can't see through my radiator over flow tank anymore

I got tired of sticking my eye in the tank's hole trying to see the level so I came up with this solution. No more guessing at the level.

You can see the coolant level is a little low in this picture.

And I'll store it in the fender galley.

Well that can be a problem, I actually painted mine and cannot see any fluid levels either. Pretty trick your work around solution. What the hell it works. Is that were you store you dipstick to, right there on the fender pinch weld area?

I just made the dipstick yesterday but yes, that is where it is being stored at the moment. The hood closes and hasn't damaged the stick so far. I did several test closings of the hood, without interference from the stick.

Exactly, I'm sure you did, you come across as a pretty forward thinking guy. Well don't keep us waiting to long for another novel solution to some of our more common problems.

Flush it out with kerosene or buy a new one is the way to clean it or be able to see in it again. It's that old deathcool in there rusting up and making your reservoir tank look like crap
