Default Can someone confirm my spoiler Part#

I'm looking to replace the surfboard style spoiler on my 03 with the race inspired vertical spoilerfroman 06-07. I have a part number of 19120797 that I believe to be a direct bolt on replacement for the surfboard. Can someone confirm this for me, I sure would appreciate it before I shell out the $400.

Thanks,

I see the 2000 to 2005 model "race inspired" spoilers on ebay quite often. Not so much the 2006 & 2007 model.

why not just to a junk yard. beleive it or not lots of these suckers total. oh wait the value on them sucks. but that would be the easiest place to get one for cheap.

Believe me I have tried to locate one local with no luck. As far as FleBay, I say as far away from it as possible. I did question gmpartsdirect with the email on this spoiler and they basically said they did not have one to look at in stock to confirm, they could also not tell me if it was primed or bare. So I thought I would ask here before Ishell out that much money for one. I would really hate to order it and flind out when it gets here it is the flat surfboard style like I already have (even though the picture they show looks like the race inspired spoiler.

Thanks,

I'm certain the surf board spoilers are cheaper then the race inspired.

And at over $600 for the one gmpartsdirect has for just under $400 my guess is it's the race inspired spoiler.

I'm not sure if the collision repair manual I have for 2006 would list the race inspired spoiler in it or not?

Let me see if it's listed in there and I'll post what I find out.

If i were you i would get an 00-05 race inspired spoiler and have a body shop do the work for you. It would be a lot less expensive than the 400 bucks for the spoiler and shipping.

Yes I have thought about the 00-05 spoiler, but after the purchase, having the holes weled up and a repaint of the trunk lid I would be a lot more expensive than the 06-07 that is a direct bolt on.

19120797

That's the same number listed in the repair manual.

They list the cost of the spoiler at $303.50.
