What do you think about these Caliper Cover Decals rather than painting the Caliper.
I like the fact that they have a Monte Carlo Logo right on them.

I think they look great. Perfect touch for a show car.
Don't know if I'd want to waste them on my daily driver though.

 

They are short-short money.
Almost expendable.
I'm popping for a set and seeing how long they last on there.

 

I'd paint the calipers anyway. Set the decals off better.

And I'd even go for putting them on my daily driver if I wanted. H--l, why not?

Wonder if you can get them in block lettering like the '06 Montes have?

 

I think if you order the other ones for the Monte SS the lettering IS different.

I bought the ones that ate Monte Carlo specific. I think the other ones are "Caliper Decals; Chevrolet (or Chevy or SS). You select the Color and tell them what you want lettered-on.

I bought a set of the Red Monte Carlo's and am going to put them on over the Calipers after I get the Calipers painted. What should I do with that part of the Brake Rotors that are just behind the wheel and are looking a little bit rusty. I know I'll be wire brushing the rusts off them ... but, I was thinking that it would be a good idea to paint that little hub section; too.
Sane color as the Calipers or some different color?

The Monte is Beige with Beige leather.

 

Go for it! It should be a nice touch. And tell us how the painting of that rusty hub- thing goes!
