New f-body brakes are done... equipped with a 12" rotor, SS lines, painted aluminum calipers and chrome caliper brackets of course :-) Also some pics from the fire station!

You have the normal pedal travel ne car does, and then BAM, they are there lol.... thats the only way to describe it haha

best mod i ever did, the stopping power is far better than stock. i have the same exact setup as you...SS lines, drilled slotted rotors, ceramic pads, and F-body calipers so i know exacly what you mean by BAM...lol

 

lol Yes exactly! With all the weight I have in the trunk, it was a must!

i spent $75 on my f-body calipers/brackets/SS lines off clubGP

another $200 + - for the rotors/pads 30 minutes for the install (1 week for the paint job to cure, and 10 seconds for the installer to ruin the paint on the passenger side....drivers side looks great though
!)

 

I paid 150 for the calipers, brake pads =30, new rotors = 130, SS lines = 60, chromed caliper brackets = 180 (ouch), About 2 hours to install (not including paint time), but I cleaned everything up real nice and took my time for install, pretty easy install though and def worth it!
