Nice. That is pretty fing awesome.

One thing i think that might look nice is if you can get a black background behind it some how and still have the LED lights on it. just a thought.

Also what did you cut the Plexiglass with?

ssgirl- haha i dont think your doing anything wrong, you just dont feel like cutting up your fingers and breathing in cleaning solution :P

space- I think if i get any more bored sometimes ill just go into hibernation for a few weeks. Oh btw yesterday i got a little space figure from a quarter machine. It was green with a fluffy rubber center haha! I didnt know you had your own toys made after you?

Looks cool. I take it the piece on the driver's side wasn't done yet in those pics? I can just barely make out the outline of the "SS". And I'm assuming it wasn't in place properly since the C in Carlo was covered up by the shroud.

When they're all done and you have the LEDs lit up, it'll look great.

BTW... If you get really bored someday, how about fabbing up some CAI's for the V6 2006 & 2007 Montes?

Have you thought about maybe etching "Monte Carlo" like that directly onto the headlight assemblies? Just a thought. Don't know how good that would look.

And Lou, Ill try out the sandblasting on the headlights, but I need another set to mess around with on to see how well it works, sometimes the film we use for blasting doesnt stick as good as it should.

 

i like the idea of doing something like that to the head- and taillights. i saw a "frosted" vinyl decal on ebay for the taillights, but it was just a skull (like the punisher logo). it would look cool to have the SS (or a 20 on my car) frosted on or etched into the taillights.
