I fought with those a ton on my 08 Impala. Over ~100k miles, all 3 stock ones failed, plus the first one I replaced (the one for inside/outside air) had the aftermarket one fail once also.
I'm currently fighting them all on my 07 Impala. But Dorman keeps replacing them for free, so it's all good.

That sucks..I have had three impalas and never heard the clicking. Anyways I put the cheaper than Doman in my Monte and its working fine still
