I have switched off my original black-n-chrome LS front and rear bowties for the red and black Z34 ones. I have been wanting to find a set of 95-97 Z34 center caps with the red bowtie as well. But I got an even better idea...! I have two crappy red bowtie ones from salvage. So...I took one out, and used a black Sharpie marker and colored inside the red bowtie to match the front and rear ones. Thinking of doing it to the 4 on my car. I'd take off the chrome bowtie, paint it red, and paint the black middle on the cap. Here are a few pics...whatchathink?
I've only done one so far, an old spare from salvage.
On the 4 on my car I'll take the chrome bowtie off, paint them red then paint the black on the cap and glue the bowties back on.
