Before/After Pics
As stated in the Morning blog, I'm getting a few things taken care of before Show season comes, Mainly some nasty rock chips/dings.
Here's a few pics of some.
First is the driver's side, i got door-ed by someone.
Can see it clearly in this pic.
Next is a rock that slammed the front. Cracked the plastic license plate holder as well.
Gnarly scratch as well
And then this one last week on the hood, gouged a deep scratch.
I used touch up paint.
So she goes in the shop tomorrow to get all of that taken care of!
I'm excited to have a Great looking ride again (Although from a far she still looks great! as the next pic thread will come in about 5 min :p )
And after she gets all fixed i plan on doing a the first good detail of her!

You'll be happy to have this done. Mine actually looked worse than yours prior to when I had the front end of mine repainted last April. I was so happy to get the front back to looking new, plus having that damn license plate bracket removed. So glad Michigan doesn't require a front plate (extremely unnecessary IMO).
It'll turn out great!

There comes a point when touch up is pointless, especially if the entire front of the car is loaded with dings and chips. A dozen chips here and there would be fine to touch up but if it's taken a beating, and the paint surface looks like the surface of the moon, it's going to be impossible to get it show quality, let alone good, with just touch up paint.

Thanks `Devin for your thread & we will be looking forward to your updates + after pictures
It can be stressful/expensive & time consuming keeping your ride in showroom condition. The condition of the roads, the elements of Mother Nature & the crazies on the roads & the careless in parking lots can take it toll & drive a person `mad lol.
I guess it's the high price that anyone with a nice ride must endure...
I think my next nice ride will be put in bubble-wrap *lol*
