Omg! So it got totalled =( I'm real sorry to hear about that...the person who did that to my monte would not be alive...or at least he would wish he'd be dead. It's sooo dumb how people not paying attention destroys amazing cars! This camaro, you may remember seeing it in almost all of my car show thread posts, got totaled a couple months ago, the driver apparently was a 19 year old chick texting & driving...I'm assuming it was the guys daughter bcuz I've never seen a chick in that car before...soo sad

Unfortenatly she had just pulled ahead of me in a work zone near the Milwaukee airport in her dare I say cat rescue wagon chevy astro van , rear ended a Suburban and not seeing any brake lights or the fact she had abruply stopped I ran into her...she recieved a sitation for distracted driving "but" whiskey law states she is responsible for only her front end and the car she hit!!! I am responsable for HER rear end and all the damage to my MONTE..only texting is illegal in the home of the liberals...In illinois she would have had to pay for it all..no text or calls...the montes gone ...moving on to a 4th gen 86SS project car and starting over..I have a PT CRUISER as a DD (gas miser)

Oh man that sucks but yeah I've always heard that no matter how it was caused that if you rear-end someone, it is your fault. Well can't wait to see how the new project goes! How long did you have the monte?

Tough hit to take...damn the one time you go out with out a tank or deuce and a half and pow, you have this happen. Well it is what it is and your not in jail for smacking someone. Now you have a Monte to take out for the final run on a demolition derby day!!! Glad your okay Marine!!

yes a PT Cruiser WEB MASTER...thats a 2.4 turbo with a DD of 123miles each day...even I count pennys

Aww I loved your car man. I'm glad you're ok. I guess as irreplaceable as our cars may seem to us, our lives arent. So just be pissed you lost the car and happy you're alive/ about to get a 4th gen

Damn dude, that really sucks! I understand how ya feel! My Grand Prix GTP got totaled last year when this lady rear ended me at 60mph! Wasn't even looking, never hit the brakes! What made it so bad was that i had just had the tranny replaced about 2 hours prior, and was the first time out in it since it had been fixed. People just DON'T pay attention! Hope ya have fun with the 4th Gen. Monte!
