GPD, applebee's didn't have any cameras in the parking lot? Sorry to hear about the misforture, hope you know a paint guy that can redo the front end. Or poke around ebay, I found some stock painted pieces on there a bit ago.

My only tip is the most remote corner possible. If your passengers complain they don't have to ride home with you

That, or I double park, a 15$ parking ticket and a 41 cent stamp is a heck of a lot cheaper than a 500$ deductable. It's just when you forget about them that they get really expensive, lmao!

Hope everyone is OK regarding your daughters mishap.

I know the sinking feeling in your stomach when you see your car damaged by some A-hole that probably shouldn't even have a licence. They were probably driving some piece of crap in which they take no pride, and don't give a damn for anyone else's property. I hate leaving my car in any parking lot, they make the spots so small, they think everyone drives a damn Yaris or something.Even if you park way back in the boonies, some jerk will invariably park beside you.

Keep the faith GPD, a good body shop will have her looking like new, and hopefully you will forget the experience.

Yikes. Sorry to hear about both things happening. That Escort looks bad. Reminds me when I rolled my 86 Grand Prix in December. Ten miles north of Redding, CA I fishtailed across both lanes of I-5 South, went over to the shoulder, hit a tree stump, flipped onto the roof and skidded 30 feet down into a ravine. I walked away with a headache, cut on my thumb and sore arm.

I'm surprised the Escort held up so good....I was expecting alot more damage. I hope your daughter is well.

Sorry to hear about the mishap with your Monte too. I know I'd be missed and looking for blood if someone did that to mine.
