Your tips are definitely not stock. If you have a chance look under the car to see if you have polished mufflers, if you do you have (at least from the mufflers back) an aftermarket exhaust, like the one I just put on silver.

 

those are definitely the exact same tips that are on my car. i'll have to have one of the guys throw my car up on the lift if they have a chance so i can look at the exhaust. now i'm intrigued. thanks amy!!!

definitely would be a bonus. the tips alone are a cool addition, especially since i've had it for a year at the end of the month and i'm just now realizing this!!

i promise, i have! but i knew nothing about exhaust systems before i came to the MCF. i never would have known it wasn't stock if it wasn't for you guys!!

Jamie, you can't tell in the sound? Stock it would be pretty quite, and just make a little noise when you punch it...but at idle, it will be pretty quite...If you have aftermarket exhaust, I think you will know by the sound, if you can hear your exhaust pretty loud even at idle, chances are its after market. You could also just take a look under the car and see what mufflers you have....

 

it's loud-ish? we're going to the body shop to drop it off tomorrow morning so i'll have him look at the mufflers.

if all else fails, maybe i can put up a sound clip and someone will be able to tell me for sure. i never really thought about it until it was brought up in this thread. i'd just always assumed it was stock and sounded like all the other ones. the dealership sure didn't know squat about it.

 

i could be wrong but in the pic that you took of the back of the car you can kinda see part of the muffler next to the left side tip. looks like polished stainless.
