So lately I've been noticing that every time I autostart the monte, my ac automatically begins to blow out air. My ac is never left on and it only seems to blow cold air. Once I put the key in the Ignition it stops. Is this normal or there something going on?

 

Thats normal, the climate control system is smart and will come on to cool the car in the summer and if you notice in the winter it'll turn the heat up to full blast and turn both defrosters on.

 

Ok that's pretty cool I didn't know it had that feature, thanks! Lol how does the car sense the weather change? This morning was pretty chilli out and it was still blowing out cool air. Just curious but thanks again!

 

I'm not sure if it takes into account where you left your climate control settings, but i'd assume it just uses the temperature sensor to determine what to do.
