I've had high end ones and I've had kits off ebay. Same thing with projectors, you can aim your headlight assembly, but the light is pretty much blasting out.

Get cheap ones off eBay or ZZP or something and see if you like them. You'll be out $40 or less if you don't.

I have 5000k on mine and I'm happy. I plan on modding for a true projector though.

google says yes:

Call HR-Pink. Silverstars are real quality bulbs though so they're only a pure white. I would suggest against pink as light output will be horrible since they're like a 16,000k and they're illegal and easier to get in trouble than HIDs themselves.

No because pink starts to become terrible light output.

*edit* I guess for some dumb reason they do.

I ignore the HID part and was just thinking "pinked" regular bulbs.

I have them in my car and all you have to do is aim them down so that they aren't blinding people, I can see a lot better than regular halogens because the quality of light is better in my opinion. With mine I don't even need to use my brights anymore. I got mine from Intense HID - HID Lighting Specialist

Check the website below to get the bulb information for her truck, pink headlights really aren't practical. But search around for what you're looking for and make sure you buy the matching bulb number.
