Well I rescued my Monte from a troubled home last year. The car was part of a messy estate and I bought it for 6,500$ with 52,000 miles on it. When I got her there was no metal left on the brakes and the steel was showing on the tires. The previous owner was a nephew of the the demised, and when he died the nephew stoped paying for the car so the power of attorney took the car and paid it off, switched the name on the title and fought a court battle and won. And then sold it to me. After some work and money this car that is'nt verry old was fixed up. When the pervious owner got word that the car was to be taken by the power of attorney he hid the car and took poor care of it. Before I bought it there was an oil change done and the tech reported that when they tried to drain the oil that about a quarter of a quart came out. And now I'm running into a few other problems. I'm working on posting some pics of her hopefully they will be up soon.
