How do I find out production numbers for white 02 SS high sport?

Good Luck I wrote to GM afew times an got a runaround on prodution numbers was told they didn't break them down by model # ..
Here's what I sent to GM this is what they said..
What is numbers per model code for 2005 monte carlo ,code # 1ww27,1wx27,1wz27

For regular 2005 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS, just like what you have its 37,143
in total. For the production sequence it’s only available for Tony Stewart
Edition (your vehicle is not part of this special edition model or any other
special editions, so there is no production sequence available). We cannot also
send you a letter containing the production breakdown of these models aside from
this e-mail.

I appreciate the help. I think I must be confused. I have read that the High Sport was a very limited production.

I found some threads around the net

"There were actually 3250 highsports made for 02. The rarest was the black on black (no silver or red strips or ground effects) There were only 544 all black made. This information was gotten for me as a condition of my purchase of 2 vehicle at the same time."

"I work in a chevrolet dealership, and all of the monte carlos that I have seen with the "limited edition" on the speedo also have the ground effect package on them (world class appearance). It origionally started as a pace car package in aroung 2000, and then turned into an option in 2001."

My speedo has limited edition / 16 in rims / Appearance package / nascar spoiler / stainless exhaust tips .

If you work at chevy dealership maybe you can find out why they
have different # 1WW27,1WX27,1WZ27 at the front of vin I thought it
was to break down model # like plain monte ,LS monte, SS monte..
but GM tells me they don't have a break down per model, Some bean counter know's the break down..

with all the options I have and in white it says 385 units

only options it doesnt have is power passenger seat and sunroof.

 

I have checked that site alot of times an that's what it say's all the time..

I just bought an 02 limited edition pace car.... Would GM be able to tell me what # my car was in the 1,500 or so that were made that year???? It no longer had the certificate of authenticity that came with it when originally purchased

 

They should be able to tell you over the phone if you give them your VIN.

However, they won't give you another certificate.
