Always a sad day....

Washed, waxed, and tucked the Monte away into his corner of the garage today :( Sad thing is, I probably only drove it about 1,000 miles this year. I've owned it since 2006, but since I got my Jeep as a daily driver, I have not been driving it much at all. Really struggling with what I am going to do when I take it out next spring.....never thought I'd sell this car either!

That's a good sight! :D Means you are going to have your monte a long time! Plus a lot of people don't have that luxury putting it away and wish they have! That why i dont feel bad putting mine away :D Taking care of her real good!

Hi Mr Roboto, It looks so lonely in your garage. You are fortunate to have a garage & don't have to subject your Monte to the winter elements. It's sad that you did not get to enjoy your Monte Carlo that much this year....Hopefully you will miss it and be looking 4-ward to spring & getting it back out on the highways of your life...

Be thankful that you have choices...To keep it, sell it, buy another dream, etc...Let us know what you decide ? So many don't have those choices 4-Sure....Thanks for posting and wish you Good Luck in Life 4-Sure

It does look awfully lonely in there haha. I always feel bad letting it sit. I finally bought a battery tender this year though, which will be a lot easier than pulling the battery periodically to charge it. So it will be stored with the tender on it, full tank of gas with stabil, and slightly overinflated tires.

When i stored my Monte i was told to inflate the tires to thier make PSI, it will help to reduce flat spots  Wish i had a garage like that too to store mine haha!! Car will look nice when it comes out though :)

Don't NEED to inflate, flat spotting is a thing of the past. Over time with the change in temps, the tires will lose PSI, so adding a few pounds is good to do just for that reason.

Looks like it was bad and you made it go stand in the corner..:)

Both my Monte and Vette are covered up in the garage but I plan on driving them on dry salt free days...

Put it in time out did ya?:rotfl:

Really wish I could store my Monte away for the winter like that. Better yet, wish I had a garage to put my car in. How big is that garage, by the way? 2000-2007 Montes are 17 feet long. And that garage makes your Monte look the size of a hot wheels car.
