After your Monte Carlo
Well so far I've managed to hang onto the Monte as I add cars. I just added a 2012 Kia Forte to my fleet. I plan to hold onto the Monte for a while and attempt a turbo build on it. Eventually I'll try to find a piece of property somewhat close and construct a garage. Of course this would be a six or seven car, 2 story garage with utilities in it.
I'd like to pick up a 1970 Monte SS with a 454 and once the Kia goes, probably switch to a Charger or a Challenger.

I've been looking at lots of different cars lately that I really like and would consider buying.. First would be a Pontiac Soltice Turbo, or a Saturn Sky Redline both in a red.
Next would be either a dodge caliber SRT-4 or a G8 GXP either one in white. lol Those are my favorites other than the monte.

My car for when I parked the Monte ended up being my 93 Prelude. 5 speed, decent on gas, has an H22... Whoever here has the most lowered Monte, you're still probably sitting a good inch higher than my Prelude is. I can only stick half of my shoe under the front bumper. Dumped and I love it, don't wanna do it to the Monte though
The lady has a Hyundai SUV, it's decent, but I sure would love to have a truck.

Well I love the Monte Carlo in general. I am keeping my 06 and want to add a black (w/red striping) 1987 AeroCoupe to go with it someday. Plan would be to leave the 87 in stock condition. I've also had my eye on the 07-current Avalanche or Tahoe but that will be at least another year or two.
Over the past few years, I've become a Mercedes fan. In addition to an old '73 220, we now have a '95 C280 that we got very cheap (needed work). Even stock it is very sporty; drivetrain and suspension are great. With a little work, it could be a lot more fun. The newer C-Class models are even better of course. Used C-Class' seem to be a good value; sporty and well-made. Find one 5-10 years old at a decent price and have fun playing with it.
QFT Sparky,
The Monte's look like they should have the performance of the CTS-V or Mercedes cars. It's a shame GM didn't give them a RWD V8. I know it's not a "muscle car" but I like to still consider it one.

As much as I absolutely love the Monte (I bought her directly off the showroom floor with only 67 miles on it), with the kids getting older and need more space in the back seat, we'll hopefully be upgrading to an SUV soon. We really like the new Honda Pilots, plus my parents have one and I absolutely love driving it.
