AeroCoupe goes for 100Grand
Okay not sure if anyone else watches the Barrett-Jackson Auction on Velocity but on 1/18/18 they sold a 4th Gen Monte Carlo Aero-Coupe 1987 for $100,000.00
All the proceeds were for charity and they said 100% of it. Pretty cool ride Black with yellow accents and
Black cloth interior.
So you car will appreciate in value for sure. You just need to hang on to it, make it all custom, and sell it at Scottsdale, AZ someday.

Sweet car, awesome resto-mod! 383 stroker pushing 415 horsepower which, for that car, is significant since the car's factory horsepower is 185. This specific car was originally black.

Oh.
It would take me awhile to get used to that yellow. Especially on the inside. No. That don't look right.
I'm not in love with the wheels either. They're not that bad, but they totally look aftermarket/ not-for-this-car.
All IMO, of course. Otherwise, I love the car. Aerocoupe t-top Monte's are the best and this one looks mint. Obviously not a million dollar car

Well I believe the reason for the Black and Yellow accent colors was because they called it the Prestone project and if you look at the first photo the Yellow kind of matches the Prestone Yellow.
I think 35K would be a good price for it also like Zippy says.
I would imagine in these Auction settings some of the fellows that are there getting cars and selling cars, 100,000 dollars is chump change, and they are just showing off because they can use it as a deduction.

The yellow is different, I don't mind it, and I think it was because it was a Prestone project. Red would have been way too close to the factory look.
