I have a 2006 Monte Carlo LT that DID NOT come with the right hand radio steering controls but I would like to add it... and I'm sure some of you may be interested in this as well.

I have found the switch for about $40 but not sure if the wires are ran from factory to plug in the new switch. If you look at the 2nd pic you can see where it would plug in. Does anybody know if the Montes have the steering wheel radio control wire ran? Hoping to just buy the switch and it be plug and play.

 

I know the 2000 to 2005 Monte's came with the wires in the steering wheel.
You could remove your air bag and look to see if you have the wires ?

 

Thanks for the response. I did a little more research and it looks like the 2006+ will need the wire harness from a donor vehicle.
