Default About to buy a monte, worth it or not?

Hi all,

Would like to buy a monte (preferably an Ss) anywhere from 2000 to 2008
What should a decent price be? I'm looking at anything under 100,000 miles. Obviously the lower the miles the better, however it must be a automatic transmission and must not have any major cosmetic damage.

Dealer or private owner, doesn't matter.

Any problems with these cars? I've had other Gm models, and have had mixed results with reliability and problems.

Thanks in advance for your input

They're all automatic, so that's an easy one.

The big difference in your year range are the engines. The oldest ones will have a 200 hp v6, middle of the pack has a 240 hp supercharged v6, and the latest ones have a 300 hp v8.
