I got a couple new ones with rims, and a lot of olds.. i'll get them up here tomorrow, i got it with about 80k now has 117k

 

not a fan of the 5th gens myself but it is clean

 

what else is new? not too many are fans of the 5th gen here.. btw what motor do you have? you might have already said it, abd I missed it.

 

Just the lowly 3.1, but I average 24 - 26 mpg in combined city/highway driving, mostly city.

 

I got the 3.1 nothing wrong with it man... gets great milage and decent power.. I get 25-31 I could get more if I change my filter and plugs

 

Big fan here of Gen 5, well done MAD.

 

I had the 3.1 in the 1991 Cavalier Z24 I used to own years ago. I had that puppy putting out close to 200 hp with some performance mods. That was during the era when GM was famous for watering down the performance of their engines. I kept it looking completely stock with the hood down. I had lots of fun with that car. Mu-wa-ha-ha-ha-ha.

I humbly think you are wrong.

One or two or three people not being fans of 5th gen doesn't meanthere "aren't many fans."

I think most people here enjoy "ALL" generations of Monte Carlos.
