New to the forum. Anyone know anything about this '86 Siver SS factory AC delete car? Also has manual windows and no tilt steering column. Thanks for any info.

 

What do you want to know about it, they were all option equipment

 

Were there many ac delete cars made?

 

Don't know as gm did not keep track of optioned production numbers

 

I never really thought of the no air SS cars as that rare, at least in the cool climate regions. I had a buddy that had an 87 Aerocoupe with no air or power anything. He converted to a manual back in the late '90's. Went with a Doug nash 4+1 (now Richmond Gear). Car was in Seattle area back in the day, think I heard he sold it locally several years ago. Photos were taken at the Seattle Super Chevy show in 99.
