Thanks Mike. It always gives me an extra bonding feeling when I have it out. Some times when I'm by myself, I just think about him sitting next to me cruising. It sucks, but it's nice all at the same time. Kind of hard to explain.

I did not know about your Dad's beautiful Chevelle until I read your posts....I was sorry to read that he has departed his human bod, and went to another level.

I believe `if he is in your Mind & Heart that he will be with you 4-ever ~> 4-Sure. I can relate to your words that you can feel him with you when you are in the car, because he is still in your `Mind/Heart : ) It's great that you can keep the Chevelle in the family...

How often to you take it out ? I'm sure it's kept in a garage ?
I miss my dad, even though I don't know who he is, or where he's at, but I always wonder about him and what he drives

Ted, thanks for sharing your story, and your thread of some great pictures....Look forward to seeing more pic's, and especially ones with Mr Burns & the Chevelle....

Both cars are garage kept, and I have a cover for the Chevelle. I don't take it out nearly as much as I should, but I try to get behind the wheel in the summer at least once a month.

my uncle has a 69 Chevelle thast light metallic green with a hunter green top , looks and sits stock but the motor is a 350 pushing 430hp with a HD trans a rear fully built suspension that runs low 11s, yet appears stock!



BUT THAT CHEVELLE OF YOURS IS SEXYYY!!!

 

Sorry to hear about your dad. But he did have great taste. Love that Chevelle. Very nice car to have. Hope it stays with you for many, many years.
