3.4l exhaust y or no y

I'm not talking about looks but merely sound. Do you think that a 3.4 monte is louder with a single 40 flowmaster outlet or with a y pipe to 2 40 flowmaster mufflers? Also which set up gives you a higher horse power gain? Why?

I voted:

dual flowmaster (w/ y pipe) hp gain

Go for the HP/look/sound. The added HP though may not be worth the cost. Any dyno/estimated HP gains??
