I was watching a nascar race last week, and during the break the nascar guys were talking about this being the last year for the chevy impala. they were saying that a new chevy will be coming to nascar next year but chevrolet is being tight lip about it. The guys on tv think there is a very,very good chance that the monte carlo is coming back.Most of the chevy drivers are pushing this car for a come back. What do you guys think?

I thought the Monte Carlo was a good name of choice, but it seems Chevy wants a new "nameplate". Of course, reviving the Monte Carlo is a popular topic of discussion around here. Some members have rendered some awsesome pics

But does anyone really think it will be the Monte Carlo? I honestly think it'll be the caprice.

 

they are already making the caprice intercepter for the police i seen one pulling one speeder over when i was going home it looked sexy. down fall is it looks like a hint of the gto and a monte thrown together

 

..Just a wild guess. Could the new car be the Bel Air ? Maybe the two door version of the new Caprice ? With all the retro designs coming out and bringing back old nameplates, this might be a alternative ? Maybe even the Chevelle ?
