Default 2007 Monte LT question

I've been looking online at the price of the front bumper lower spoiler/ground efx that are standard on the 2006-07 monte SS. What I'm wondering is can the ss ground effects be added to the front bumper of an LT. I just love the way the front looks on the SS and want my LT to look that way.

Honestly it's going to be very expensive to get that done.

You can do it, but prepare to drop a good $2000 on the job.

The bumbers on the SS have special slots for the ground effects kit to slip in. I would think that you could modify your bumpers to make the kit work, but it will not simply just bolt right up to your current bumper.

$2000 sounds a bit much, I just want the front lip. I found it online for around $300. So the kit doesn't just bolt to the bottom of the front bumper, I'd have to possible drill holes into the face of my bumper too?

You will have to have a professional shop do this for you.

They will need to put slits in each bumper and then drill some holes for the bolts in the wheel wells. Then they will have to prep / paint each piece, on TOP of the cost for the un-painted body kit.

And honestly the first time I read it, I was thinking that you wanted all 4 pieces.

Yea I was thinking the front bumper then depending on how that goes maybe the rear lip I think the stock sides look pretty good.

I used to want the SS kit for my 2000 SS (in 2000 they didn't offer the lip-kit, started in 2001) but after I had my car painted along the bottom, I don't think it needs it anymore

nah mak I was planning on getting the OEM kit from GM. Even though the razzi looks ok it still has that aftermarket kit look to it.
